We are Chris and Corinne -- your RoundTrippers! We're both San Diego natives, but met living in Washington, D.C. working in politics. We soon ended up back in our hometown and further bonded by literally traveling around the world together.

It all started after midnight one night in 2014, when Corinne came across an around-the-world airfare deal for $177. We assumed it was a glitch that would be cancelled -- like we'd heard about on the news -- but within 30 minutes flights were booked and we were laughing that one day we'd tell a story about that time we booked flights around the world for under $200.

But then the flights were confirmed. Ticketed. And 3 weeks - and 5 countries later - a mutual love for traveling (at a fraction of the price) was born.

Since November 2014, we've spent all our free time - and not so free time - scouring the internet for mistake fares and crazy airfare sales to support our travel addictions. Friends and family kept asking for our secrets and for alerts to these crazy deals. So, in early 2017, while planning our next adventure and drinking too much wine, The RoundTrip was born to help you travel too.

Your RoundTrippers

Chris Dolce Castillo

I'm a relative travel newbie. Although I had been to Mexico, I didn't get my first passport until 2013 for my honeymoon...and then the travel bug bit. It bit HARD.

I'm the type of traveler who's never ready to go home, and is constantly thinking about the next trip. When I'm not traveling, I work in government relations for a research institution, play tourist in my hometown (San Diego!), and spend time with my husband, dog, and cat.

Corinne Clark

Hi. Corinne here. Iā€™m the one who packs with precision and meticulousness, requires a detailed itinerary, and yet somehow is always running (literally) to catch a flight or barely making it through customs.

In my non-travel life I am a former politico, current PR and Public Affairs consultant, podcast aficionado, and dog mom.

Our Mission

We want you to travel. We know that cost -- and especially cost of flights -- is one of the top prohibitors of people traveling.  But there's a whole world of cheap, error, and mistake fares out there. We spend the time to find those deals, as well as regular airline weekly sales, to share with you so you can book that next flight and go explore the world.

There's also a lot that happens after you've booked the trip. Current events that could impact your plans, deciding how and where to go, and all the planning and logistics that goes into any trip. We're here to help guide you through all of that too.

We do this through the weekly newsletter, and soon will be providing a service where we push alerts out to you via email or text, or will do personal airfare searches for you.  To get the weekly deals and travel news sent right to your inbox every Wednesday, and to keep updated on when we expand our fare deal service, make sure you're signed up for our mailing list.
